Because of the location of our offices – in primarily tourist areas – and our ability to offer services in several languages, we have accumulated substantial independent, and specialist experience over the past over twenty-plus years in dealing with a large client base of international customers, particularly from Scandinavia, Ireland, United Kingdom…. Our clients usually require legal and juridical representation in Spain, and we offer them a full range of legal services which are all very different according to each specific case and client.

We offer experience and guidance in all matters relating to international non-resident and resident income taxation, property dealings, such as sale and purchase of property, property touristic rentals, property sectioning and guaranteeing, house breakup share partnerships, land dealings, Probate Inheritance process, and advice on local property laws and regulations.

Our charges are subject to Solicitors Regulation Authority’s Price Transparency Rules that keeps away extortionate practice. These rules require Spanish Firms to inform clients to all payment alternatives for certain areas of practice, and they are introduced to help potential clients make informed decisions about legal services. In particular non-contentious case (not involving Courts), we usually operate giving a gross sum bill calculated on a set estimated hourly rate for undertaking tasks, such as telephone calls, e-mails, drafting legal documents, applying for financing if needed, assisting in the exchange of house names, tax payments, Company name registration, etc… Our Firm will operate on a Fixed-fee arrangement basis plus disbursements. These are small fees such as translators, Company House fees, Council fees for searching, NIE rates payable to Police Office, PoA Notary fees, local land registry authority searches, water & drainage, or electric contracts information, small bank charges issuing or clearing bankers draft, final searches carried out just before transfer of ownership is complete, etc…
